Effectiveness of Eight Weeks of Corrective Exercises in Water on Postural Status of Young Men With Upper Crossed Syndrome: A Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial

Background and Aim Upper Crossed Syndrome (UCS) is a musculoskeletal disorder leading to postural deformities such as forward head posture (FHP), rounded shoulder (RSP) hyper kyphosis. This abnormality has spread among people in the community due modern lifestyle excessive use of communication technologies. Therefore, aim this study was investigate effect eight -week comprehensive corrective exercises carried out water on head, shoulder, kyphosis well pain correction men with UCS. Materials Methods: In current randomized controlled clinical trial, The minimum number samples determined using G.Power 3.1 sample size estimation software, 30 people. After initial screening 200 students screen, including possible drop 5% research process, 34 upper crossed syndrome, mean age 23 ± 0.80 years, weight 71.61 2.2 kg, height 171.75 1.24 Cm And body mass index 23.60 ±.67 Kg / m2), they were purposefully selected. These individuals randomly divided into two groups: experimental (n = 17) control 17). case group experienced for weeks received no intervention during period. Paired t-test used compare within independent differences between groups. Results: results showed that had significant improvement terms (P= 0.001), FHP (P=0.001) RSP (P=0.001). Conclusion: According results, Eight environment can be significantly effective reducing forward, round cross it recommended specialists treatment.
